Powerhouse Kidz (Plugged N2 Jesus)
Powerhouse Kidz takes place on Sunday mornings during the worship service (10:30-11:30). It is designed for children grades 1-6. In Powerhouse Kidz, your child will learn sound truths from God's Word. Each week, they learn an important Bible truth, sing songs, watch puppet skits, do crafts and many other exciting things.
Preschool Kidz
Preschool Kidz meets on Sunday mornings during the worship service (10:30-11:30). It is designed for children ages 3-Kindergarten. Each week, your preschooler will be introduced to fun Bible characters and will begin learning sound Bible Truths on a level they can understand. They do crafts, play time, Bible Study in the canopy, and songs.
Sunday Night Kidz
We are doing something new on Sunday nights! We have began the Elevate Series again. For those of you who don’t know what it is, this is a fast-paced, high energy video Bible Study where children watch a Bible Story, watch a skit where the actors learn an important lesson, sing songs with motions, and have lots of fun! We try to throw in a snack time each night too! This is back by popular demand! And we are currently working through the first study in this wonderful series. It is called:
Sunday School
Sunday School meets every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30. There is a class for all ages. In Sunday School, the children will meet in small groups to learn stories straight from the Bible in a way that kids at their age level can understand!
Wednesday Night Missions
Children learn the importance of mission in Arkansas, throughout the United States, and throughout the world. We have two different groups for the kids on Wednesday nights:
This
is a mission-based class for children in grades 1st -6th. Each month, the children focus on a certain missionary, action project, Bible story and Bible Verse. The children learn why Missions is important in the church and what missionaries around the world are doing to reach people for Christ. Children also get involved with the church by doing monthly mission projects. The theme focuses on the place where the missionary of the month works, and they learn about the culture through fun activities, games, crafts, and themed snacks. Mission Friends is a mission-based class for children ages 3-K. Children learn why helping others is important through fun activivies.
The Kids Ministry is being improved. Woodland Heights Baptist Church is proud of the kids. We always strive to make every kid fit into our church. Whether it's Sunday School, Children's Church, Sunday night activities, fun activities or anything else - we are working on it!
